Lumberjack Barbarians - Although the Baronies are predominantly agricultural, there are still many forests on the lords' lands, far from any fortified town or castle. These woods are thick and untamed, and those who live near them often find themselves alone against the creatures that emerge from these pockets of wilderness. Only the hardiest and most resourceful can hope to survive here.
- Rangers - While the woodlands lays far away from most populated areas, the barons are not foolish enough to leave them unchecked. The rangers are women and men paid by the nobles to keep what comes from the woods in the woods, and watch the borders of the realm.
- Druids of the Old Faith - The barons and the clergy may have imposed the New Faith on the kingdom, but even after centuries of purging, there are still people who follow the Old Faith. Far away from civilized lands, communing with nature is sometimes the only way to survive the horrors lurking in and out of the woods.

Warrior Monks - Some members of the clergy choose not to dedicate themselves to the learning and teaching of the Holy Ways, and rather walk the path of the warrior monks and become the fanatical muscles of the Holy Temple. People jokingly say they uphold a "vow of violence".
- Purge Clerics - When a member of the clergy displays an unyielding faith and some talent for magic, they can become a purge cleric. Tasked with maintaining the purity of the Baronies and its people, they are often sent to the front line, followed by flocks of warrior monks, to fight occult threats.
- Paladins of the Temple - Whenever warrior monks and purge clerics aren't enough to deal with heresy or more worrying threats, the Temple dispatches its paladins. Clad in armour and wielding holy weapons, the paladins are dedicated to the punishment and execution of individuals, rather than the pursuit of salvation.

- Veterans & sellswords - In a land of internal conflicts and petty squabbles among nobles, wandering mercenaries and idle soldiers are a common sight. When war doesn't pay anymore, many will turn to bounty hunting, body-guarding, or less legal alternatives to make coin. In the Baronies, many lives are expandable.
Bards & street performers - While living in the Baronies can sometime be grim with the internal conflicts and persecutions, the people of the realm also enjoy themselves during an impressive amount of festive event. Wether the celebration might be religious or not, artists, musicians, circus and performers can be seen everywhere. Many of them just want to bring joy to their audience, but some would rather use the cover of the events to sell their most peculiar skills to any employer.

Wizards - When people starts developping magic affinity, they have to choose between being ostracized by the superstitious folk of the Baronies, and joining the University and learn how to harness their new power. Unfortunately, the University is infamous for producing either political opportunists out of wealthy students, or wandering outcast out of the many people not able to afford the cost of tuition for more than a year.
- Warlock & occultists - Among those gifted in the arcane arts, there are those who would rather seek power in forbidden knowledge, by joining cults, or by making pacts with forgotten deities. Common people imagine them as wicked witches lurking deep in the woods, or cloaked shapes sacrificing people on warped altars. In reality, these feared and hated people could be one's quiet neighbour, a travelling merchant met on the road, or even a self-righteous noble funding orphanages.
- Sorcerers and witches - Sometimes people with no history of magic wake up one day in possession of uncontrollable and chaotic arcane powers. When they are discovered, they risk ostracisation or worse, burning at the stake. Those who survive have no choice but to take to the road and try to make sense of their new lives and powers. From farm boy to vagabond, it's not unusual to come across such figures on the roads of the Baronies.
